Tom Stateman

President

Tom Stateman has built his career around solving complex problems and creating innovative solutions in the healthcare and business sectors. His work began in hospital finance, where he developed a successful approach to reducing aging accounts receivable—an early example of his ability to improve systems and deliver measurable results.

In 1979, Tom founded ARM Ltd., a company that grew to serve more than 65% of Chicago-area hospitals and expanded nationwide for over 28 years before being sold in 2007. He later launched HealthStar, which became one of the largest privately held PPO in the country, helping employers save an average of 34% on healthcare costs. He also created Health e Connex, an automated medical claims processing company that saved clients millions by streamlining claim repricing.

Today, Tom leads The Stateman Group LLC, bringing together top-performing companies to help employers increase revenue, reduce costs, and enhance employee benefits.

Throughout his career, Tom has built and grown companies that have helped clients avoid financial hardship and improve operational performance. His guiding principle remains simple: when a client has a need, he finds a way to solve it.
